"Grey's" star to race in Jersey

MILLVILLE, N.J. - August 28, 2008 - (WPVI) -- There is a new place to race in South Jersey. It's called the Thunderbolt Raceway.

The race this weekend features "Grey's Anatomy" star and race car driver Patrick Dempsey. He says he is a serious racer, but fellow drivers still tease him for his "McDreamy" status.

"There are all kinds of things we can't say on T.V. that we put on his car and suit and in his locker," said driver Joe Foster. "He is definitely one of the team here."

If you'd like to meet Patrick Dempsey, he's signing autographs from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday.

The premiere race is 1:00 on Sunday.
