225 mile TAG Endurance Race
August 15 - 17, 2008
The 225 mile TAG Endurance Race will Feature a CASH payout with an estimated purse in excess of $15,000.00 plus additional valuable prizes. The Purse will be a cash Payback based on the total entries for the Endurance race, which we plan on paying back to the top Fifteen (15) finishers. Additional prizes for Fastest Lap, Pole qualifier, Most Laps Lead. We are still working on the details for this event but there will be more to come!

Friday August 15: Open Practice 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
Saturday August 16: Official Timed Practice and Qualifying 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
Sunday August 17: 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Warm up 12:00 Noon Race Time!

Approximately 1 Mile, including elevation changes, banked turns, various ss...a fantastic track!
Rules Outline for the 225 Mile Endurance Festival at F1 New Jersey Motorsports Park
- Two (2) Driver Minimum (3) Maximum
- Spec tires ( To Be Named)
- Tag engines WKA Engine rules
- (1) Electric Impact Allowed Per Team during a pit stop, No Air Impacts
- Drivers must be 15 years and up
- All fuel must pass WKA fuel Tech Sunoco Available
- Engines must be shut off during pit stops and driver must exit the kart, if the engine is running or the driver does not exit the kart during the refueling or if the driver enters the kart before refueling is finished will result in a hold penalty during that stop or the next stop
- No on track chain oiling systems allowed
- No Belt Drive Systems, Chain Drive Only
- All teams must have a fire extinguisher in their pit box
- No on board radios for driver to pit and/or pit to driver communications, there will be a designated area to signal your driver with a pit board
- The use of a backup kart will NOT be allowed. (1) Spare Engine is allowed per team
- All TAG Team Drivers must meet minimum weight with kart before start and at the end of the race. Weights shall be as follows:
- Rotax Max, Easykart - 370 lbs.
- PRD, Leopard, BM, Motori Seven (with revlimiter) - 380 lbs.
- Rok TT - 395 lbs.
- Sonik, Biland Any Legal Exhaust - 395 lbs
- Comer, Motori Seven (no revlimiter), Italsistem - 405 lbs.
- We reserve the right to adjust weights during the race weekend in the interest of parity and Fair competition!
- Fuel is Gasoline and Oil Only, Must pass WKA Fuel Tech, random fuel testing may be done in the pits at anytime we will be supplying refueling jugs to every team in the spirit of equal competition
- OEM air boxes only (No aftermarket or interchangeable air boxes allowed) you must run the original air box that was supplied by the engine manufacturer with your engine! Engine specific air boxes! Approved air boxes allowed including the two hole RLV air box, OEM Leopard, OEM Sonik air box, only air boxes that come OEM with the engine are allowed, no aftermarket like the KG "cobra" air box
- Standard Floor Tray Fuel Tanks Only, No Enduro or 10 quart tanks allowed, 1 Fuel Tank Per Kart, fuel line maximum length is 4 feet long, Maximum Capacity Tank is 9 liters, You can fill up your tank with another product to take up fuel tank space so you can run a larger tank as long as the capacity is 9 liter. Will be teched!
- Entry fee per team $300.00
- There will be a required tire change during the race. We plan on running (2) different tire compounds “1 Hard and 1 Medium”. If you start the race on hard then you must finish on medium (F1 Style). We believe that this will make qualifying and the race quite interesting. You must start the race on your qualifying tires. The tire choice is still being worked out as we are trying to negotiate the best possible price so that the cost of this great event can be reasonable for everyone
