Keen Gas Continues Partnership With New Jersey Motorsports Park

Millville, N.J. (February 4, 2010) - Keen Gas and New Jersey Motorsports Park announced today an extension to their existing partnership, stretching the relationship through the 2010 season at the South Jersey facility.

As a leading supplier of welding equipment and supplies in the Mid-Atlantic region since 1919, Keen Gas provides New Jersey Motorsports Park with tools essential to the on-track operations. New Jersey Motorsports Park maintenance utilizes Keen’s welding equipment in repairs to guard rail and other safety features around the 2.25-mile Thunderbolt Raceway and 1.9-mile Lightning circuit.

Visitors to the facility will again notice Keen Gas signage and billboards located around the facility in 2010.

“Continuing our relationship with Keen Gas, and other partners who have supported this facility from the start, was a priority of ours this winter,” said Brad Scott, General Manager at New Jersey Motorsports Park. “Keen Gas has supported the people of the Mid-Atlantic region for 91 years with a philosophy of ‘people first,’ which is our goal here at New Jersey Motorsports Park.”

For Keen Gas, the relationship with New Jersey Motorsports Park takes Keen back to its roots. Founder Stanley Keen began the company as Keen Auto Parts in 1919 before expanding into compressed gas and welding supplies permanently by 1946.

Today, under the leadership of Stanley’s grandson Bryan Keen, Keen Compressed Gas Co. has 14 locations and employs over 100 people.  Over the past year, Keen has introduced an updated, user-friendly website with capabilities to answer customer questions about welding supplies and industrial gases.

Keen Compressed Gas Co. is celebrating 91 years of success and Total Customer Satisfaction. More information on Keen Gas is available at www.keengas.com.
